I have 200 free downloads this month, i believe the 200 first downloads for this track are free, after you can enter zero or more for the price.

I wanted to made an original remix of my favorite icons of hardcore, sadly dead now, but their spirit still present more than ever in this scene.

This track is a tribute to all the good rave party we all have created and the feelings we all have shared thru the years.

Feel free to ask for more stuff like that, I love to remix good music like this.

So basically how i made it ?

I put samples of the .wav files i had on my computer into a sampler in ableton, i selected the part of the first wave sound coming to create the soundscape and then i created new notes from it to add some spice to the job, compressors, limiters added on it, check!

Now what can we put for good bass kick to sound amazing with that ? I checked my library and found this old good french gabber kick sound like and says hmmm i think we got something there, let's add some compression, limit all that again and add some dirt with a saturator, a light phasing and a very smooth reverb.

Ok sounds cool, now let's add some hip hop fucking beat on that, so i deleted all the steps, added in my kick sampler a smooth hat and a basic snare drum. Edit, test, edit, test, ok we got something.

Now i wanted to add some dirt with a dubstep stab lik, so i selected a new sampler again and edited what i had to sound cool and my head starting to balance and move from left to right i was like ok let's edit this shit more seriously.

I added new channels for the lyrics parts, just the drop it in a new sampler and some FX on it. And a part of Aesop Rock that i had from a free acapella on my hard drive.

This bloody song was then born and I decided to publish it for you for free and for every hardcore labels to discover what i love to produce for music and ask me for more stuff like that as a tribute for one of the biggest hardcore creator crew, 3 Steps Ahead.
